Global anchor layer
Feature-gated prototype; separate from the durable production reference.
Prototype / draft — separate from production registry operations.
Status: prototype / draft.
Design scope
The design uses a global anchor layer to describe registry/shard authority and topology. The gal module defines its interface and records. A GAL record or reserved anchor field is not proof of a live admission or finality result. Keep this design separate from current registry entry persistence.
Explore the implementation
The mars-shard library reference lists every module and source boundary. Feature flags and local types are implementation evidence, not live network evidence.
Use the current registry
For production integration, start with HTTP discovery, PostgreSQL operations, and the generated API contract.
Source authority
This page describes the checked-in implementation, not the availability of a public registry. MARS-S is a feature-gated prototype; it is not the production storage topology.
